***** SUCESSFULLY REHOMED *****

CJ - Female banded Grey Cockatiel came to us in Sept 2013 and re-homed in Jan 2014

She was born in 2006

Amazing girl that was shy but, never bit anyone.

She was surrendered with another female companion who is 7 years old and remains with us as she fell in love with our boy Peanut

**** SUCCESSFULLY REHOMED ***

Fred - AKA Mookie - Male Umbrella Cockatoo was surrendered to us for rehoming.

Born in 1998 (making him 15 years old)

He was rehomed to a wonderful lady who has always wanted a cockatoo and the moment she spoke to him he started to rub his head on her leg.  It was as if they were meant for each other.

With all Cockatoos that bad side is that if they want attention they will scream to get it which not everyone can tolerate or have where they live.

Jackie - Male African Grey

***** NOT FOR ADOPTION ******

Born in 2008 (making him 6 years old)

He was surrendered to us due to plucking issues that needs to be corrected.  He has also, causes some minor cuts under his wings.

Though he is very shy and timid due to the change in his life he seems to be adjusting ok so far.

His owners were very concerned for him due to him not liking the idea of sharing the attention with their new baby in the house.  He had stopped talking almost 8 months and just began to pluck himself.

Update  Feb 24:  Jackie is now setting up and giving kisses, he is started to make sounds and say `Hi` we are very proud of his progress, he is also, letting some feathers come back.  Still shredding a few but, more on his chest and wings he is leaving.

RICKY - MALE YELLOW SIDED CONURE  (NOT BANDED)

BORN 2012  *** NOT FOR SALE ***

HE CAME TO US FOR TRAINING DUE TO BITING ISSUES MY DAUGHTER AT THE AGE OF 8 AT THE TIME HAD HIM CORRECTED IN 2 DAYS AND THE OWNER TRADED FOR ANOTHER BIRD AND RELINQUESTED OWNERSHIP TO MY DAUGHTER AS SHE SAW THAT RICKIE BONDED TO HER.  THEY REMAIN BEST BUDDIES AND HE WILL ONLY GO TO HER.  SHE IS THE ONLY ONE HE LETS DO ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING TO.  SHE HAS TAUGHT HIM TO PLAY DEAD, RIDE ON THE BARBIE CAR AND DO TRICK AND FLY TO HER ON COMMAND.  AMAZING FOR SUCH A YOUNG GIRL.
